Sam Amsterdam

PR and Strategy Advisory

Samuel ‘Sam’ Amsterdam is an advanced advocacy and strategic marketing and media engagement professional, with commercial and political counsel experience in major global hubs including London, Brussels, Johannesburg, Lagos, New York City, Toronto and Washington, D.C.

From Washington D.C., London and Johannesburg, Mr. Amsterdam has managed the day-to-day public relations operations of international social enterprises  on a global scale.

Mr. Amsterdam graduated with a degree in Public Affairs and Policy from Ottawa, Canada’s Carleton University.

Tommy Deuschle

Brand Strategy Advisory

Tommy Deuschle holds a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Business Administration from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the United States of America. 

Tommy is a World Economic Forum Alumni in the Global Shapers community.

He helps start and build companies worldwide. He started his first company during his senior year of college, and jumped on the train of growing ideas. Tommy has founded and built companies like CMedia (a video production house), Cotrade Industrial Solutions (an industrial service company for mines), and EarthStruct (a real-estate fund), to name a few.

As the recent co-founder of Emerging Ideas, Tommy recently started an incubation company that helps young budding entrepreneurs make community impacts with their start-ups.

Tommy hosts local Pitch Nights every month where entrepreneurs present their companies to a Springboard audience which helps propel ideas into strategic relationships, funding and deal opportunities, as well as increased exposure.

In his spare time, home grown coffee, songwriting, Crocodile Hunting & Video Production take over.

Investment and Legal Advisory

Michael is a finance and investment funds specialist. He has over 20 years of post qualification experience. Michael has advised on the formation of numerous private equity funds across Africa including but not limited to ​funds domiciled in South Africa, Rwanda, Namibia, Mauritius, Cayman Islands, Luxembourg and Guernsey. Michael's clients include general partners as well as investors such as Development Finance  Institutions, pension funds, family offices and corporates.​

Our CEO
Munya Maraire 

Munya Maraire hosts one of the more unique backgrounds in African and international athletic history, indicative of the continent's spirit of resilience amidst adversity, and determination in the face of opportunity.

Today, the Founder and CEO of World Wide Scholarships Group (WWS) sits atop a transcontinental social enterprise involved in all aspects of sports business from sports recruitment, sports media to sporting apparel. WWS has held partnerships and collaborations with elite international outfits such as, NIKE, AC Milan Technical academy, Real Madrid Foundation, NCAA, NAIA and many sports federations worldwide. Penn State, Munya's alma mater, before he went on to become Zimbabwe's first NFL prospect athlete.

From its inception, WWS has successfully placed thousands of athletes in global universities and professional leagues alike, in sports such as track, swimming, tennis, soccer, basketball and field hockey, but to name a few.


WWS NIL is his newest endeavour bringing NIL opportunities to international student-athletes worldwide. Bringing his deep understanding and experience in matters concerning international visa regulations and NCAA by laws to a very niché international student athlete population.
